Yep, the new nurse should have keep her mouth shut like any decent person and maaayybe inquire at the dad or daughter or their coworkers if she needs that info so urgently for her peace of mind instead of hurling around wild insinuations. ESPECIALLY in her probation period 🙄. IMHO, HR nipped it in the bud because a simple admonition will never stop gossip mouths. When we were young, Christmas was a sort of magical time. We always got into it so I kept it up wherever I was living. When I lived in the basement apartment I had a Charlie Brown Christmas tree I bought at Aldi. When I bought this place I got a tree that one of the drivers was through with and decorated it with dollar store decorations. It's the definition of simple but I really like it and Sadie spends hours staring at it so I guess it's got her seal if approval, lol.

When I first brought Sadie home, I set her in a chair I had inherited from the former owner and told her that was her puppy chair. It immediately became her spot to sit and guard her home from the evil outside. She loves that chair. I think she was kept in her kennel most of the time and that's awful.

I always make my bed. It’s a matter of self-respect. My house is always tidy, clean, and organized. It takes me 2 minutes to make it and yet, if I hadn’t, my room would feel beautiful and I wouldn’t feel as happy being there or getting into bed later that night.
