Unfortunately yes. If we're being exposed to words like "unalived" and censorship of such basic words as "drúgs" and "cráck" then our brains start to automatically set up an association that these words must be hurty (similar to the muscle memory entry). This is not a conscious decision but something beyond our control, especially among younger people with less experience of the world. This surely must lead to an increase in self-censoring behaviour because our brains will subconsciously avoid the "bad" words.

Yes, and no. This pic originates from a 4 year old Daily Mail article. This isn't a 'remote' tribe, it's from a well travelled area. The article has a lot of photos and it's obvious that while the tribe does traditional things, it also is very much main stream. There are people with red and blue dyed hair, and a lot of the photogs dressed them up to appear more "tribal" and beautiful. So while the pic is real, the description is not entirely true.
