My mother shipped my childhood horse for meat. She lied to me and said that my mare was sick and had to be put down. I was paying $50/mo to my mother to pasture board my horse, and as she got no grain, and hay was 1.00 per bale then, my mother was making a profit. I was in grad school, and scraped the money together out of my stipend (I certainly never got any financial support from my mother). When i found out, months later, what she’d done, I called her on the phone and her answer was a snarled“what did you care? You didn’t live here anymore.” I then disowned my mother and told her that if she ever contacted me again, I would turn her into the authorities (she has skipped out on a lot of debts). That was more than 20 years ago, and we’ve had no contact since. I hear about her from my relatives and she makes up lies about me to them, how I’ve been fired and have no friends, how I’ve abused my pets. Just nonsense, but cruel things. Please, no comments about “forgiveness.” I have accepted what she’s done and moved on, so I am fine. She is obviously not repentant and is therefore not deserving of forgiveness. So no dime-store psychology please.

This woman said her ex fiancé’s mom was the reason. The mom wanted to center of attention and did not approve her son’s fiancé and was so stubborn. During the wedding ceremony, the mom told her son “It’s either me or her!” He looked at his fiancé and said to her, “I’m sorry” and took her wedding ring and walked away. My guess is he still gets grounded for coming home 5 mins late after curfew.RegenaCoggins56 reply
My dad called off a wedding before he met my mother. He was with this woman that really pressured him into getting married. Basically she just started wedding planning without a proposal. And my dad let it go too far. One night she and her mother were discussing what food was going to be served at the reception. So they asked my dad what he thought. "Roasted chicken or beef?" To which my dad replied, "I don't care which one you're having, because I'm not going to be there." Edit: Apparently she bought her own ring, too.

Not wild, just sad. Couple planned a wedding and I was going to play for the ceremony, then a couple of months later I got a call from the vicar saying she's been diagnosed with cancer and they want to put it forward until only a few weeks time. She didn't even make it that long. The wedding day was when they held her funeral.

Nurses are either the sweetest people you'll ever meet and will go to hell and back for you to be comfortable during your stay, or the literal spawn of Satan, bullying anyone they come across and overall, not having evolved beyond high-school mean girl cliques.
